We are a growing educational YouTube channel seeking a talented and motivated 2D Animator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start at the ground floor of a growing channel and have your animations seen by millions of viewers.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D animations that effectively convey educational concepts and ideas
  • Ability to align with the brand and theme of the channel and emulate an already existing animation style
  • Collaborate with the the channel creator to ensure accurate representation of educational concepts in animations
  • Apply creative and innovative approaches to present complex information in an engaging manner
  • Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve animation techniques
  • Consistently meet or exceed project deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
  • Balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Communicate proactively with the team about project progress and potential challenges
  • Be open to receiving feedback and making necessary changes to animations based on team input

Skills

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years experience as a 2D Animator
  • Animation experience with a YouTube Channel is desirable
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and creativity
  • Proactive and solution driven
  • Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro,  Toon Boom Harmony, or similar)
  • Proficiency working with Adobe Illustrator and vector art  is desirable 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for education and a strong desire to create engaging content for learners of all ages
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Willingness to adapt to feedback and continuously improve your animation skills
